Currently deployed to Iraq, with anticipated unit return to Ft. Hood in April/May 2010.  Specialize in providing quality support to critical military missions through effective management of aircraft electrical, avionics, radio, armament, and safety systems maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs in both combat and non-combat settings.  Key player in achieving over 200 AH-64D phases and supporting over 2K missions over course of 2+ years during SURGE OIFs, 2006-2008 and 2009-2010 as member of B Company 615^th ASB.

 

Proficiently inspect, repair and assemble Target Acquisition and Designation Sight (TADS) and Pilots Night Vision Systems (PNVS).  Efficiently repair, splice and replace wires and coaxial cables and adeptly use soldering iron and components to complete projects. Effectively read/interpret complex schematics. Have earned Licensure and developed comprehensive knowledge in operating Auxiliary Ground Power Unit (AGPU) and all associated systems.

 

Have contributed dynamic leadership skills toward assuming a Supervisory role for approximately 3 years, with responsibilities including strategically coordinating and supervising teams in conducting aircraft maintenance and running Forward Arming and Refueling points.

History with military includes Basic Training, Fort Jackson, October-December 2003, Fort Ustis, VA for AIT, January through June 2004, first duty station at Camp Eagle, Korea, June 2004-July 2005, and Fort Hood, July 2005-October 2006.  More recent deployments have included Camp Taji, Iraq, October 2006-December 2007 and Fort Hood, December 2007-April 2009, prior to current re-deployment to Cam Taji, Iraq.
