Efficiently update status of cannibalization actions on assigned aircraft as well as confirm aircraft readiness for flight.  Consistently ensure quality maintenance and safety in compliance with Quality Maintenance Program criteria. Spearhead Operations Risk Management (ORM), including enforcement of flightline ORM measures.  Expertly advise on complex issues related to maintaining, servicing and inspecting aircraft and aerospace support equipment. Coordinate with squadron maintenance and flight schedulers in executing daily flying schedules.

 

Proficiently review maintenance documents to identify problems and isolate root causes as well as use technical data to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems on aircraft systems.  Effectively interpret and advise on maintenance procedures and policies for repairing aircraft and support equipment.  Productively review maintenance forms, aircraft records and reports to ensure complete and accurate documentation.

 

Adeptly troubleshoot and maintain aircraft structures, systems, components, and support equipment as well as adjust, align, rig, calibrate, and service aircraft systems; additionally perform engine run ups and jack and tow aircraft. Thoroughly inspect aircraft structures, systems, components and support equipment for safety and regulatory compliance, quality assurance and risk management.  Effectively interpret findings and determine optimal corrective actions.  Further inspect and check components for clearances, tolerances, proper installation, and operation as well as inspect and operate powered and non-powered aerospace ground equipment.  Comprehensively inspect and identify aircraft corrosion and facilitate preventive and corrective measures.  Supervise and collaborate in preflight, launch and recovery of aircraft.
