2.  Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.

In my current position, one of my responsibilities is to ensure crucial compliance with safety and security regulations, practices and procedures in continually monitoring maintenance programs/ projects from inception through completion.   Similarly, with the USAF it was my responsibility to oversee aircraft maintenance programs to assure we were continually working within health and safety regulatory as well as internal standards. This included both FAA and OSHA standards compliance.   In reviewing jobsites and projects for regulatory compliance, I was also accountable for promptly reporting any real deviances from or potential compromises of safety or security standards, regulations, practices, and procedures to designated authorities.
