Directly manage an 11-member team of Immigration Enforcement Agents responsible for processing and deporting/escorting aliens, under final orders of removal to their country of citizenship.  Proficiently perform detention program responsibilities supporting ICE standards, including ensuring detainee care, as well as their physical, mental and civil rights.  Conduct comprehensive review and analysis in order to draft and prepare documentation for aliens needing an appearance to the Executive Office of Immigration Review (Immigration Court).

 

Apply strong managerial abilities in supervising and arranging transportation liaison including prison pick-up, medical and court transportation security.  Effectively plan and coordinate with foreign officials, consulates, airport and airline representatives to obtain required travel authorizations and documents. Identify violators of Immigration and Nationality laws by visiting local municipal and state law enforcement correction facilities, courts, parole and probation offices, state and federal prisons.

 

Proactively prepare required documents to initiate removal proceeding.  Independently write numerous cases and interview prisoners to determine alien status/removal, demonstrating exceptional written and oral communication talents.  Take sworn testimony under oath and have conducted extensive computer checks within the TC5, IBIS, DACS, CIS, Enforce and NIIS systems to verify the information obtained from field interviews.  Initiate Immigration Detainers (1-247), Notice to Appear (1-862), Record of Deportable/Inadmissible Alien (1-213), and other charging documents used to remove illegal aliens.  Completed Post Order Custody Reviews of alien flies.
