Held responsibility for all 8th Army supply sustainment.  This required direct interaction with HQDA, HQAMC Field Support Command and other organizations to assure supply needs were met.  Kept ACofS, G4, for 8th Army and the Chief Support Operations apprised of all issues related to command supplies, including Army Prepositioned Brigade Medical Stocks held at Camp Carroll , Korea.  Developed briefings for Wartime General Office regarding Pacific supplies of Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS-4) and updated War Reserve Stocks lists utilizing GCCS-K, interfacing with both internal and external support personnel as required. 

 

Oversaw analysis of logistics operations, identifying areas and items of significance that would play important part in logistics decisions made by Commander.  Played key role in coordinating inspections with EUSA, G4, and acted in a liaison role, including overseeing SOPs, between DOL and other departments, coordinating assignments and resolving any problem issues.  Designated by Branch Chief as action officer for specific programs when needed.
